I caught the 05.40 train from Lancaster, spent the day at Brunel's Station in Bristol networking, distributing Proud to Ride Classic literature, and enjoying the feast of beautiful bicycles and accessories. I was home again by 10 pm. From Preston there was a replacement bus that necessitated putting the Harry Hall in a bike bag.

A 60km cycle ride from Lancaster via the canal, the new link ramp to the Lune Valley path, and into the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) via Hornby, Roeburndale, the Conder Valley, Jubilee Tower and Wyresdale.
